Gluten & lactose free Copenhagen
Copenhagen has some incredible places to very happily eat gluten & lactose free - with confidence that they’re really taking it seriously and not going to poison you. It’s such a treat to be able to relax while eating at a restaurant. Thank you Copenhagen.

H.U.G Bakery
HUG bakery is an organic and gluten-free bakery in the heart of Copenhagen. With love for raw materials, ecology and good craftsmanship, we bake bread and cakes in a category of their own – and for everyone. HUG explores and challenges the familiar, based on gluten-free flour varieties and completely without additives.

Possibly my favourite place (aside from H.U.G). Amazing avocado on toast with perfect poached eggs - and gluten free sausages : ) The carrot, apple & ginger juice is a delight. Not the cheapest breakfast I’ve ever had!! Maybe a pay-day treat? ; )

We actually headed to their sister pizza place next door, but ate here instead. Really beautifully cooked pasta and the pizza was also fantastic. Impressive restaurant.

At least 15 different cuts of meat on the grill every evening. Every evening, you have option of tasting all the various cuts of meat we have on our grill. We have a wide variety to choose from: brisket of beef, rump of veal, Black Angus “okseblomme”, juicy spareribs, Argentinian sausages and much more besides.
Buffet-style meat fest. Also vegetarian options. Very friendly staff and no problem have gf / lf feast. Had to ask a few questions of the staff at the meat counter, rather than the waiting staff, but they were super accommodating and it was all very tasty.
